About Me

Hi, my name is Anna Davidson Thawe and I guess you landed here because you want to create your Dream Lifestyle. But before we get to that, I wanted to share a bit about me.

But I wrote this little bio for more than one reason. Firstly I wanted to document my journey from failure to success for my own sake, because it’s easy to forget sometimes where you started and how far you’ve come and just focus on all the stuff you still want to achieve…

But the second, more important reason is: the only emails I look forward to getting are from people who I feel I know personally and I will want to send you some emails in the future.

There is nothing worse than a stranger hitting your inbox! And I bet you are getting emails from people all the time and you don’t know them from Adam. Let’s fix that right now.

With that in mind let me share a little bit about myself, so I’m not just another name on your screen. I am doing this because I truly feel I have some amazing things to share that could really change your life, and I am going to do everything I can to get you to read about them, and more importantly act on them!

I grew up near the sea in the North-west of England and I loved it. I often count my blessings for the wonderful family life I had when growing up. My father was a financial advisor and my mother his PA, we had great holidays as a family in the Lake District and Camping all over Europe, although my father worked hard my sister and I didn’t see him much in the week, but he made up for it for the fun times and adventures we had as a family.

My father has always inspired me to be ambitious and driven and independent which is probably why I’m so competitive and hungry for success.

At 18 I left home and studied Microbiology at Leeds University, I was determined to find the cure for AIDs, then soon realised being hidden away in a lab was not for me. After graduating I moved to the West Midlands to start my corporate career within the Pharmaceutical Industry. I basically sold Viagra to Doctors and other healthcare professionals, then managed and led teams too. I was working long hours, away from home, at meetings and conferences around the world, but life was good, I earned big bonuses, drove a BMW, I got promoted moving up that ladder!

What changed?

Then in 2007, I had my first son J, my life changed. I became a mum, and when the time came round for me to go back to work, I wanted to spend more time with him.

This was my ‘light-bulb’ moment.

I was hardly ever going to see my son.

My childcare costs were over £1500+ month.

The recession had started and redundancies were hitting my industry.

Time became more important than money, but I still wanted the nice things in life.

It was on his first Birthday I made a decision, I was back at work and knew something had to change!

Why the Digital Economy?

I was introduced to a MLM business, and Property investing which was my first taste of a residual income. I was inspired by the Digital world and Social Platforms, and started to network online with other Mumpreneurs and Digital Entrepreneurs. How could I replace the income I was used to?

I knew I could leverage the internet.

At the end of 2011, I was made redundant, J had just turned 4 and R now 1 years old. I felt excited, nervous, I had the time to spend with my boys and felt an overwhelming wave of gratitude. I knew I could become a mentor for others in similar situations like me, others who want to build an income online and work flexibly around their family. I wanted to build a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

The recession had really hit the UK and I needed to start earning fast.

I wanted to share my expertise, so wrote an ebook to market to other Mumpreneurs, I ran workshops coaching and educating other business owners who were in the same situation as me and created an online program to help the female corporate professional transition to entrepreneurship.

I had done some affiliate marketing in the past but seen so many scams and push money systems that put me off the industry. Stuart Ross was different. In that I could relate to his story, as a mentor he is straight talking. This is a characteristic I believe we share in common.

So I joined the Digital Experts Academy community in Summer 2012 and wow I learn’t a hell of a lot and met some great like minded people sharing and supporting each other to get to our goals. Then in the beginning of 2013 I met Daniel Wagner from the Expert Success Academy and this is when my business really took off. Facebook had always been my number 1 strategy to convert cold leads into buying customers and Daniel & James gave me the fuel and belief that I had something to teach and share with others!

In September 2012 I was recognised for an Entrepreneur Award, for implementing and getting stuff done, which is really the only difference between failure and success. Then in October 2012 I won a Mumsclub “ Top 100 mums in business” Award. In 2013 I was asked to be interviewed LIVE on BBC Breakfast TV and then the end of last year I was involved with The Guardian and was invited to be an Expert panelist.

What do YOU want to achieve?

It’s really important you know where you want to be. What do you want to achieve? I want to be national leading expert in the Digital World, and passionately want to help others to achieve the same. My two boys J & R will definitely have the right digital mindset for the future, I’m going to make sure of it, as the economy is changing so fast. Contact me here and we’ll book some time in.

Thank you

Anna-Thawe
